At Wilkerson Trailers, we are committed to supplying quality new and used trailers that customers can purchase with confidence. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage available for trailers purchased through our dealership.
Warranty coverage varies depending on whether the trailer is new or used.
New Trailers
All new trailers sold by Wilkerson Trailers include the manufacturer’s warranty provided by the trailer manufacturer.
The duration, terms, and coverage of the warranty vary by manufacturer and model.
Our inventory includes manufacturers such as:
- Exiss
- Lakota
- Reyes
- and other trusted trailer brands.
Warranty claims for new trailers are handled according to each manufacturer’s warranty program.
Depending on the manufacturer, warranty repairs may be completed:
- by the manufacturer,
- through an authorized service center, or
- at another approved repair facility.
Transportation of the trailer to and from the repair location may be the responsibility of the owner unless otherwise covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Used Trailers
Used trailers sold by Wilkerson Trailers do not include an additional dealer extended warranty unless specifically stated in writing at the time of purchase.
Before any used trailer is offered for sale, our technicians perform a thorough inspection to verify that major systems and components are in proper working condition.
Any issues identified during the inspection are repaired or replaced before the trailer is made available for sale.
We stand behind the condition of every used trailer at the time of delivery and make every effort to ensure it matches the description provided on our website.
Some used trailers may still have a transferable manufacturer warranty. Where applicable, Wilkerson Trailers will assist customers with the warranty transfer process. Transfer eligibility, remaining coverage, and any transfer fees are determined solely by the original manufacturer.
Warranty Coverage
Manufacturer warranties generally cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, subject to the manufacturer’s specific terms and conditions.
Coverage varies by manufacturer and trailer model.

Warranty Exclusions
Warranty coverage generally does not include damage resulting from:
- accidents or collisions;
- misuse or abuse;
- unauthorized modifications;
- improper maintenance;
- normal wear and tear;
- corrosion, weather exposure, or environmental damage;
- damage caused after delivery that is unrelated to a manufacturing defect.
Applicable exclusions are determined by the manufacturer’s warranty where manufacturer coverage applies.

- your order number;
- trailer model;
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), if available;
- a description of the issue;
- photographs or videos when applicable.
Our team will review the information and guide you through the appropriate warranty process.
